¿De que están hechas las Hamacas?
Nosotros vendemos tres clases de Hamacas: de algodón, de nylon y de crochet; cada uno de estos materiales tiene características propias que lo identifican y hacen diferente. El algodón es muy cómodo en un clima caluroso y húmedo. El nylon es muy resistente y dura más tiempo, además es más fácil de lavar y se seca en menos tiempo. El crochet es el más cómodo de los materiales y su tejido el más fino, lo que hace de la hamaca fabricada con este material la mejor de todas.  Todas nuestras hamacas tienen tejido el cuerpo en un 100% ya sea con algodón, nylon o crochet; las puntas o brazos son hecho de nylon para darle mayor resistencia.

What materials are used to make hammocks?
We sell three types of Hammocks: cotton, nylon and crochet; each hammock has it's own characteristic based on the material which is used to make it. A cotton hammock is very comfortable in a hot and humid climates. The nylon is more resistant to sun and rain and is easier to clean  because it dries in less time. The crocheted hammock is the most comfortable and is made from the finest material. All of our hammocks are hand woven and the end strings are nylon for greater strength.

¿Cuánto tiempo dura una Hamaca?
La hamaca debe durar muchos años siguiendo sencillos cuidados como dejarla a la intemperie mucho tiempo.

How long will my hammock last?
Your hammock will last for many years if cared for properly. They should not be left outdoors for long periods of time.

¿Dónde puede colgarse?
En interiores y para eso hay que colocar hamaqueros; en exteriores, pueden ser colgadas entre dos árboles o en barcos, entre los mástiles.

Where should I hang my hammock?
Hooks can be placed in wall stud or ceiling joist inside your home. Outside, you can hang you hammock as will fit.

¿Cuál es la diferencia de tamaños?
Como en las hamacas uno se acuesta a lo ancho o diagonalmente y no a lo largo, la diferencia es el ancho. En el tamaño matrimonial pueden dormir dos y sentarse seis o más.

What is the difference in size?
The king size hammock is the largest and can sleep two people. You can sit as many people in your hammock as will fit.

¿Cómo debe ser colgada?
Se necesitan ganchos en forma de “S” y dos sogas de metro y medio cada una. Las puntas de la hamaca no deben tocar directamente con el metal del gancho por que se pueden romper los hilos. Cuelgue las dos puntas del mismo alto, con medidas iguales de la soga.

How should I hang my hammock?
Use  “S” hooks and lengths of strong rope. Suspend the hammock to hang symmetrically, with both ends at the same height.

 ¿Cómo se usa?
Para entrar a su hamaca, retroceda hacia ella, jale el lado lejano arriba de su cabeza, acuéstese, suba los pies y acomódese. Para salir de la hamaca, simplemente ponga sus pies en el suelo y levántese.

How do I get into my hammock?
To enter the hammock, you back up to it, pull the farthest side well above your head, them lie back, pull in your feet. To get out, simply lower your feet to the ground and stand up.

¿Puede caerse mientras duerme?
No es factible, la posición a lo ancho o diagonal significa que aunque se mueva mucho tiene suficiente material de hamaca que estirar alrededor de usted.

Can you fall out of the hammock?
It is not likely because of the diagonal thread construction of the hammock. No matter how restless you become, you will have plenty of hammock material stretching over your sides.

¿Se pueden lavar?
Si, tome cada punta y estírela completamente, amarre un lazo alrededor de la hamaca cada 10 cm para que no se enrede. Lave a mano en agua fría con detergente suave. Enjuague completamente, quite los lazos y cuélguela estirada a secar.

Is my hammock washable?
Gently hand wash your hammock in cold water with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and hang it stretched out to dry.

¿Cómo se puede guardar?
Entre dos personas tomen las puntas y cada persona tuerza la hamaca en sentidos opuestos, una vez torcida junten las dos puntas, súbanla al nivel de la cabeza y se enredará sola. Se puede colar así del gancho o amarrarla en cuatro puntos y guardarla.

How will I store my hammock?
To store your hammock, grasp end loops and twist each in opposite directions until the entire length of the hammock is twisted tightly. You can do this alone –with one loop attached to the hanger- or with a partner. When it’s twisted, hold it above your head, so that it is clear of the ground, and it will spin and wrap around itself like a skein of knitting yarn. You can then hang it by the end of loops from one hook, if it is indoors, or tie with cord in a couple of places, tuck in the loops and store.
